University of Toledo

The University of Toledo is one of 14 state universities in Ohio. We were established in 1872 and became a member of the state research university system in 1967. We are a diverse student-centered public metropolitan university with over 23,000 students. UT offers the fifth-lowest tuition of state universities in Ohio with an on average earning of the third-highest starting salary for graduates. UT boasts six campuses with a picturesque Main Campus on over 300 acres that has been nationally recognized for its beauty. We're located one hour away from Detroit and have a large population of out-of-state students from Michigan. In-state tuition is also offered to residents of Monroe County, Michigan. UT offers merit-based scholarship awards based on GPA and test scores to to $9,000 to assist with the out-of-state fee of $9,338.
